    Sealing e-mag grip panels.

I remember someone saying that it was possible to seal e-mag grip panels to the frame to prevent paint/moisture from getting to the electronics. What is the best way to do this and what all is used to do it? Thanks.

Personally I just bring out the RTP when it's wet out, but that's not an option for everyone...

I would go to a hardware store and get a bit of clear silicone that comes in a squeeze tube and put a small bead around the frame and then push on the grips and let it cure. The silicone should hopefully stay on the frame and still allow you to pull off the grips to service the gun.

Oh, i'd never play with my e-mag in the rain, ever. Too much of an investment to risk there. I'm more concerned with a paintball hitting the grips and working itself into the frame. I'll get a bottle of that silicone tomorrow

I guess you can use RTV to seal it up.

I've not had a problem with my emag and water. I've never dunked it or played in heavy rain, but in a slight drizzle it never gave me a hiccup...
