    Got my Automag!!!

Hey guys im new to the forum. I ordered my automag yesturday. I also purchased a dye xcel barrel that was $7.99. I will have to run my automag on co2 but i will be getting an anti-siphon kit soon. I have $70 left and i am wondering what my next upgrades should be. Im thinking about buying the inteliframe.

Welcome to AO. If your mag doesn't already have a Level 10 kit, then that would be your best first upgrade. If it already has L10, then an Intelliframe is a good start.

I kinda want a double finger trigger. but i also want good performance. Tell me about the level 10 bolt. I'd like to know ur opinions. Can u use co2 with the level 10 bolt? I have heard it prevents chops, is that true?

You can use Co2 on a lvl 10 with a classic valve, I would suggest getting either a nitrogen tank and/or a good hopper with your left over money. Just my 2 cents

Check the stickied threads in the tech forum. There is all the info you need on the L10. In my opinion, it would be the better of the two choices for a first upgrade. It does prevent chopping, and that increases your enjoyment if your new toy.

Well, you say you have $70 left. Is the reason your not getting compressed air is because there is no one around you that can fill it, or because you think its too exspensive. Using compressed air on a mag saves you so much trouble, if you can get compressed air, i would. If not, go for an intelli or y grip.

ive heard people say that some scuba shops can fill hpa tanks if thats your problem, but i would get a revvy (if you dont have an electric hopper) and level ten before the i-frame, but hpa is almost a necessity with a clasic mag

Yes my problem is that i have no place to fill it. I will be doing tournements and i would like an awesome speedball setup. If u guys could tell me what the best speedball upgrades are that would be great.

a y-frame, level 10 and a really good barrel would be very helpfull, maybe a ule body. but i would assume that a tourney would be able to fill an hpa tank

i think they do fill them but they are expensive to fill compared to co2.

Welcome to AO!! The first thing to invest in is an air tank!! Everything else can wait!! Once you go compressed air, then you can think about Level 10, and everything else that tickles your fancy!!! But trust me and get that air tank first, you'll be much happier and will save yourself a lot of headaches down the road!!! Hope this helps!!

I have decided i might get nitrogen if it is possible. If i do what tank size and what brand. Remember i dont have a lot of cash. I will also post a pic of my gun soon.

Good decision!! Just about any brand should be fine, I used to have a PE 68/3000 steel tank and had no problems with it whatso ever!!! In my opinion, that is a great choice if you are on a tight budget!! You will want at least a 68cu.in. tank, the 47s and such are just too small, specially if you like to pull the trigger!!! You can usualy find a good deal in the classifieds here on AO if you want to go used!!! Anyway, hope this helps!!

Is there anything i need to know about handling and use of a nitrogen tank? I was also looking at th pure energy 72 ci 3000psi tank for $120.00. Is it a good deal? Also is there any difference with carbon fiber wrapped and steel tanks?

Carbin Fiber is lighter tank and needs to be in a tank cover when ever aplying ect.. Thing can dent esy.

Steel more heavy like a co2 tank.

                              Hope helps.
