    asa shredding tank orings

    my on/off asa is shredding my tank's orings, What do i do to stop this?
    I knew not what I did but am now edumacated

    What I noticed would happen when my screw in tank would chop an oring is that you don't screw the tank all the way out, then screw it back in again...

      Shoot while you are unscrewing. Oil up the threads. They both help alot. Or never change orings again and get an on/off ASA.


      I do know the AO sig rules, I just want a free sig pic, that's all! :mad:

        If you don't screwn in the tank straight (spin it in the asa until the threads catch) you can chew up the o-ring. lube it up and it'll help

          Now that I think about it, that's exactly what I've been doing.When i was trying to fix my emag and stuff I would sometimes not unscrew it all the way, Thanks for the help.
          I will also oil it to make sure.
