    Rapid fire dropoff

    Single shooting is fine
    Everything is oiled,

*My small problem is after shooting really fast like 5 rapid shots the level 10 starts chuffing very slightly but not alot and the trigger rod isnt pushing back as fast, this didn't happen before*

pulling the trigger smoothly i can shoot fine but bursting is when this problem starts
    velocity is chronoed to 280

i use a 88/45 pure energy high output
my level 10 set up is 3 shims 1.5 carrier and nothing leaks

any opinions on what i could do? thanks

Maybe there is a piece of debris in or around the sear assembly that is cuasing it to be sluggish.

How old is the bolt spring? Maybe it is worn out/weak.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

bolt spring is the middle spring, haha it cant be anynewer/ broken in cause its only seen a case and a quarter total out of the level 10 box a few weeks ago

ill check my sear, could be the intelliframe microswitch in the way, thanks athomas

I had this problem with my xmag. When I shot fast the level 10 would chuf. Try taking out a shim, 3 is a lot. Mine hits soft with 1

Pure Energy Tanks are prestet tanks and probably not the fastest in the world but when you say "rapid-fire" you are not talking about bouncing the trigger and hitting 20+bps right?

In your case I would check the shims like has been suggested but also you might consider trying the longest spring and see if that helps at all.

Sounds like the spring is not the issue. Have you tried a larger carrier size? If it is tight, it could make the bolt not want to move consistently at the desired velocity setting.

                  Hey,

I'm kinda having the same problem. My X-Valved Minimag is SLUGGISH. If i try to shoot fast, it chuffs. I can shoot one shot per second and it's ok. I'm using an AGD Flatline regulator. I've tried raising the pressure above 900 psi with no difference. It used to rapidfire at about 1000 psi like Z-Man style; but not anymore . I don't know why. I've tried the medium and short spring. (My X-Valve is very new). I've changed carriers to bigger sizes and am using only two shims. Someone help me.........

I did drop my gun pretty hard while walking around an indoor field ( the stupid workers don't clean the slippery floor and I almost hurt my @$$ falling.) When I take out the fieild strip screw, there is a gap between the rail and body; is there supposed to be? Or is my Y-Grip tweaked now? Maybe it has something to do with that. All I want is a very fast RT trigger something that I can get very fast speed with. I've got the right setup for it, after all I have the AGD Flatline!!!!!!

Last thing, is it normal to hear the Flatline recharging every shot? (sounds almost like a low pitched squeek)

okay i fixed my gun went up a carrier and oiled the On/off pin

jewie try tightening your body to the rail and makesure that your field strip screw should be tighter than finger tight use an allen wrench

That sounds like a Flatline problem to me. My flatline was recharging very slowly, so I opened up the reg and lubed the o-rings as well as cleaning the fill nipple area and it's working like a champ.

ok, thanks for the replies. I won't be able to work on it for another 2 weeks since I'm going on vacation to Boston, NYC, and Washington D.C.
