LVL 10 seems to be good, now trigger is funny?

ok, i did a search, and it didnt bring up any results, so here goes. Just got a Custom ULE with ULT trigger. I got my Level 10 to the right carrier, now heres where the problem is. Every 5-10 shots i take, the pin behind the trigger doesnt pop out, then it waits a second, and it will pop back out. I made the mistake i think when i first got it to screw that pin out a little bit, because the was a considerable gap between the pin and the trigger, should i not have done this? also, when you guys say you put shims in the ULT, where do you put them? do i take that out of the Xvalve and put them up in there? it was assembled for me, so i havent seen what it looks like. Thanks for the help.

    Never touch the sear-pin!

    You borked your gun.

To add shims to the LVL10, Remove the On/Off Assembly (Big Brass thing) and add shims there.

Also, remember to oil your gun... a lot.

well today is not my day, i screwed on my HPA tank to see if i could get my mag to work, and wouldnt ya know, i think the burst disk went off on it, gas went flying out of the side of the regulator. So now i have no air to see if my mag works. My tank should still be good right? weird thing bout it was there was only 3000psi in the tank, and its a 4500psi tank. ANy thoughts?

                No!

NO, Never ever touch your sear pin its bad B-A-D....you need to adjust your sear rod back to the correct length...i cant remember the exact #'s so start asking people...or if you dont want to go through all the trouble just buy a new AM/MM Sear Assembly for around $15

I believe it is from the end of the rod (part that touches back of trigger) up to the swivel point.

The 'automags sear length paranoia' is a huge overgrown misconception, right up there with 'petroleum oils eat orings'.

The sear rod length should be adjusted so that when the marker is gassed up, there is a little bit of slack between it and the trigger at all times. It's not rocket science. There is no magical length.

As for your problem, I had the same chronic problem. I took out my ult the other day. I had tried everything. Maybe I'll try sometime in the future, but for now a dead reliable 8bps will have to do over a finiky 12bps.
