I was definetly thinking about getting one of these, but so many people say they are a waste. Then again, I have read results from tests and have seen the results I'm looking for...If there is anyone who actually has either one of these tell me ALL you can about it. Also put down what kind of air you are using/have used.

Just to be fair...
Well to be fair and give an opinion on the other side, I will reply.
The Z-valve does work, the best improvement will be a lighter trigger pull. If you compare the on/off pin with the stock pin, you will notice it alot more thinner on the z valve. This thin design lightens the pull. Which is why people like Centerflags (maker of the Hyperframe) swaps the stock on/off assembly with one with a thinner diamter when you install their electrical frame, to lessen the load on their solenoid. This is exactly identical to the RT valve assemblies which is what gives them the light trigger pull as well.
This will give a mild RT effect. I say the trigger pull will be as light as an RT's, but the bouncy return force will not be as strong as the RT's (I have fired an RT, and still need to take the time to study why the RT design gives a stronger return force as compared to a normal AIR valve with Z valve... hmmm...).
The Z is a poorman's RT. People are selling it for like $25-$30 online. Heck, if you ask in the classifieds on AO, people want to get rid of theirs for like $25 shipped! Their loss.
I dont want to get an RT for 2 reasons.
1) Not enough $$$
2) The Stock AIR valve can handle my ROF needs and demands. I really dont need to shoot over 10 bps. It serves me well enough, anything higher and I'll most likely outrun my Ricochet. It has already been proven on the Halo videos that a Stock AIR can shoot at 16 bps with an electrnoic Hyperframe (which is why Im waiting for mine to come in). Go ahead and search for the threads, you will see it too!
Dont be a follower and obey what others tell you. Try it yourself and you be the judge. If everyone here on the forums said "Brass Eagle Paint is the shizznicks with Mags", would you go out and buy a case?
...
Didnt think so...

The RT has the strong reactive force because the chamber and the space above the on/off fill initially at input pressure (~800psi) rather than the regulated pressure (~400psi). This along with the fat on/off pin top gives the reactive feel.
This is done by basically rerouting the air through the length of the valve. It allows the chamber to fill faster than ever.
Do a search on the Z-Valve. See what everyone here thinks.
Is good! <--- well the Z-valve isn't, but all else I wrote is.
