Rare Automag

I just recieved a Classic Automag Powerfeed in a trade. I took it to my local field, and the guy say that it is a VERY rare one. Apparently, most Mags have 3 stars after the serial number. I was told that those 3 starts mean you can send it to the shop 3 times. My Mag has no stars after the serial number. So, that must mean that I can send it to the shop an unlimited amout of times.

Is this true?

Nope, I believe that just one before the star system... where you usually got 1 turn with AGD.

No....not that rare. Just before the star system is all. Before the stars it was unlimited if it was stock inside. And thus no stars.

Whats the serial number? That might make it collectable.

There were one star "classics". And there were Three star "Automags"

And then there was the "Minimag" with four stars and the PTP ones etched "MicroMag" with three stars as well.

Then RT's had none. And Field Rentals had none but were etched "Field Rental".

Of all those I find the Three Star ones that were etched Automag to be the least I run across.
