Need Help with old mag barrel leek

I took a few years off from playing but want to get back in it. Before I stopped, my 68 classic gave me so many problems I was ready to cut it into pieces. I bought the gun used and the guy took it upon himself to bore and polish various parts on the gun. When I would gas up air would pore out the barrel. I tried replacing all the seals but nothing changed. I noticed the little gold circle thing on the on/off had been bored out and is scratched. Any ideas. I have an Avalanche valve and a Z-grip.

If the air leaks out the powertube, even after you have replaced the o-ring, then you probably need a shorter powertube spacer. This is because the sear wears a bit and the bolt sits farther ahead than it normally would. The other solution is to replace the sear itself. If it is wearing, it will need replacing soon anyway. Check it to see if the sear tip is getting rounded. that is a sure sign of wearing.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
