    Went Macroline any tips?

Whats up guys, I finally bought a macro line with swivel fittings. I ran the macro directly to the valve from the asa. The trigger feels alot better ( i used to it through an expansion chamber). Now are there any tips on maintaining a macroline or anything like that? thanks

I recently picked up a Macroline kit when the stainless steel braided hose broke (the strap) and I will say YAHOO! What a sweet little hose set up!!

It took me longer to take off my old Stainless hose then to put on the new Macroline and no leaks at all!! I even have enough hose left over for my tool box that I should be fine for a while.. Now I am just picking up some extra fittings to do up some friends markers!!

I too would like to hear tips for Macrolines..

How about it. I sold my friend a Minimag about a month and a half ago. It had a macro setup on it since I used HPA on it. I told him to put braided hose on since he uses Co2. He didn't, and needless to say, it burst when we were at D-Day, you should have seen the frost on that line after it drained the tank.

Make sure the macroline is good, high quality. There is a lot of shoddy tubing out there.

Dont let it sit in the sun for days, but generally it can sit in the sun for a while so long as its UV stabalized, and any macro in black IS UV stabalized.

When you cut it, make sure that the cuts are even or it will leak and/or pop off the fittings.

Make sure not to run a ridiculously high pressure through it, but thats hard to do, and pretty much a given.

Make sure that the fittings are pressed ALL THE WAY into the fittings. I see people not put them in all the way and it pop off often.

Usually, you wont have problems so long as you dont use crummy macroline. (I know national sells some stuff that is less than adequate, as well as 32 degrees)

Parker Macroline is probably the best there is. 32 degrees macro is crap, the line is barely bendable and the wall thickness is very inconsistent.
