Hey. I have a Micromag right now with a ReTro valve. I'm building a new mag, and I just got the x-valve for that. I figured I'd try out the xvalve in my micromag for the hell of it, but.....it doesnt fit! The little silver metal nub on the bottom side of the valve (the one that slides in the groove, you know) is too big. It's too big around to fit inside the groove in the micromag body. Is this normal? If it's just that micromags can't take x-valves, then that's fine because the xvalve is for a ULE body, but it seemed weird to me. Help please?

That's the first I heard of that.
I have or have had probably a dozen X valves in my own MicroMags and have put 10-15 others in other Micros and have not seen that issue.
I would have to assume that the z lock pin in your X valve is a larger diameter than the pin is in your RT valve?
I can't imagine why that would be......strange.
I have a couple of each sitting right here and they all have the same size pins. Are you sure that's what's causing it?
Just for grins, pull the on/off assembly out of the X valve and try it with out it and see.Logic Paintball Forums

ill try that. It sure looks like the Z-pin (if thats what its called) is a larger diameter. It looks shorter and fatter than my ReTro valve.Comment
