    Crossfire fill nipple leak

I have a 68/4500 crossfire tank which currently has a leak through the treads on the quickfill nipple. My question is once I get all the air out of the tank can I just undo the nipple, put some tread sealer on it and screw it back in? Or what would be the correct procedure for it?

You got it...once you get it out you could also make sure there is now gunk inside the fill niple. To reseal it use purple loctite or if you have to thread tape. If you use the purple loctite make sure to let it cure for 24hrs before airing it back up.
