What's your take on the Equation barrel set?

What's your take on the Equation barrel set (with the teflon coated inserts)? I really want to get one... please post comments if you use or have used one with an Automag, as the adapter is somewhat funky, and I don't want any unpleasant surprises

However, unlike the Freak or CP kits, the Equation gives you an unlimited variety of length, bore size, muzzle style, colors, porting styles, profiles and allows you to make YOUR barrel as custom as YOU want.

As of a few weeks ago, Equation had not released the
MS Pro system with inserts for the mag. The folks at Equation said it would be the last barrel to be completed because of the more extensive machining to be completed. They want to get it right the first time around. My cocker loves this barrel system. Over the last month I've shot over 2 cases through this system and no chops or barrel breaks. None. The system is great for matching paint to barrel with accurate consistency. The shot groups are right on top of each other. The quality of machining and anodizing is excellent. S/S inserts are precision machined and are far more durable than the thin aluminum inserts of the Freak system. Of course the freak is no slouch for matching maint to barrel either. There is a reason why Tom uses S/S internals and bodies for his Mags. Ruggedness, durability, and long life. The inserts are laser engraved with bore sizes. And of course all the choices this system offers as far as designs, styles, muzzles, porting, no porting, colors makes this a better looking system than the Freak at least in my opinion. That is if it matters. Bottom line is that every one I know wants to hit what there shooting at without barrel breaks the first time. For me this system delivers.

Has anybody tried the Breech and Muzzle only? sounds loud but short.

How about accuracy? what kind of paint did you use? was it fresh?

I'm looking for a replacement to the SP Venturi.
i dont like signatures. so i turned them off. AO is much better this way.

On the cocker the breech adaptor with muzzle only
was loud but I saw no difference in accuracy shooting PMI Premium once I upped the input pressure to get the same reading of an avg. of 285fps. The length of the barrel is about 7" and used more air. I was using the .689 S/S insert. With the full length barrel ,13", with a unported extension ( the extensions come in your choice of ported or unported) shooting an avg. of 285fps and using a adaptor with a Dye 750 psi gauge between a Sidewinder and the gun the input pressure was 200psi. I used a radarchron to get the readings for 10 balls. The first shot was 290 but the other 9 were grouped at 283 to 287. With the breech and muzzle (EK-47 style) only the avg was 250fps. So I lost 35fps at a 200psi input. To get it to 285fps I had to up the pressure to 230psi input from the Sidewinder. But air is cheap. The target was 2 picnic paper plates taped to a cinder block wall 50ft from where I was shooting from a table and bench using a Hornady bench rest. The neighbors are cool and are all hunters
including the cop that lives a few houses away. These are all big back yards of at least of at least 120 ft across. With everything dialed in, I shot the long barrel than the shorty. The splooges of paint on the plates were almost identical. The shorty setup was as accurate as the full length barrel. FWIW

If you order the multi-switch system through Equation's website it lists the Automag adapter as being available. However, they have not actually manufactured any as of yet so they're not really available. I found this out after already ordering a set for my RT Pro. Since then I've purchased an SFL E-Mag and re-ordered with the Cocker adapter. I will report back once I receive my kit and use them.
