Can this automag be true!?

i made a note about this, but a bad title didnt give it enough reviews.

well anyways

at the proshop they sell new mags for 260$

but there is one automag that is already customized for 176, and its called the purple dragon.

it has a custom paintjob that shows a dragon on it, and it has a barrel, and a macroline kit on it already.

but heres the catch

its fully automatic. thats right, we have a fully automatic automag here.

someone tell me this is a good buy.


and also! is part of the fun of a mag customizing it?

they are probably refering to its highly reactive valve/trigger i guess ??? cause no way a mech gun could be full auto <><><><> so its probably not really full auto, but it sounds like a good buy

well with the proper amount of input pressure from an adjustable tank, any RT mag can be "full auto" so nothing special there. ask the shop owner to demonstrate it's "full auto" capabilities...

If you have a digi cam snap some pics of it, or even a cell phone camera. Make sure to get shots of the valve area to verify it has authentic AGD parts. If it does, it doesn't sound like a bad deal but not fantastic.

You CAN fiddle with the valve to make it full auto, also the sear, BOTH BAD IDEAS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR EQUIPMENT! but it can be done and it can yield some interesting results.

I'm guessing that's what happened, and now it only fires full auto...

So in reality it is a mag in need of a new sear
