    Look this over Please

This is what I am planning to get for my new mag and 68 flatline system.

-Powerlyte Grip Styx 45 Double Trigger Grip Fram

    -ANS Phase ll Valve

    -ANS Venturi Bolt

I don't want to spend a ton on like a Retro valve or something, just somewhere around $130-$160. These upgrades sound good for the gun? Suggest any better ones at the same prices?

    Thanks

    Carson

dont bother with the phase2 valve...... it wont give you any inprovement over the stock one....

as for the ans bolt...... the jury is still out.... myself i would stick with the stock one

but in the end its your money

Avoid the Powerlyte grip frame. The tolerances are horrible and they tend to not work out of the box. Spend the extra on the Intelliframe. Even if you don't plan on hooking up intellifeed, it's still a great frame. It has the shortest pull possible and you can get blade or groove style triggers.

Don't waste your money on the ANS parts. The valve can't flow anymore air than the stock one because the passages leading to the valve are so small that it's impossible to flow anymore air than the stock valve. The same goes for on/off valves.

Don't get the ANS bolt. They're a bit easier on paint, but the stainless steel is too soft and they wear out too quick. I have a handful of them in my garbage parts box that are worn out. Stick with the AGD foamie or foamieless bolt.

If you want, you can spend $200 and trade in your stock valve and get a Retro, or stick with your stock valve, get an Intelliframe and Revolution for about the same cost. The only other upgrades you should consider would be Warp Feed and other cosmetic things like foregrip extender, gas-thru foregrip and black/polished mainbody.

        Good luck with your setup.

          Question

What will the Retro valve and Intelliframe make better and how? Thanks a ton for the advice. I don't want to spend too much though, so could you recommend the best grip under $100? And any valves under $100?

There is no after market valve, bolt, or on/off that's gonna provide ANY performance gain, and they'll more than likely make the gun perform worse!

If you want a real, and awesome upgrade, get an HPA system, If you have one, then go Retro! :)

The Intelliframe is going to be much like the Powerlyte grip frame. The I-Frame comes with DYE stickies and the thing that makes it different from all other frames is that there is a bracket machined into the frame to allow you to mount a Radio Shack switch to intellifeed your Warp or Revolution. So everytime you pull the trigger, the Warp or Revy will spin. Search Intelliframe and you'll find plenty of info about it and go to the AGD Online Store and under parts will be a link to show you how to intellifeed a Revy or Warp. The Intelliframe is $115, I know you want a frame under $100, but to be honest, none of the other frames can really compare with the Intelliframe when it comes to quality and performance.

The Retro Valve increases the rate at which you can fire the gun and has no shootdown up to 26bps. Again, search Retro Valve and you'll find more than enough info.

Stick with the stock valve or get the Retro Valve. The only valve upgrade you should consider is the Retro Valve, which is an entire valve replacement. There are no add ons to the stock valve that are worth the money.

get an intelliframe and a foregrip. Don't get gas through though. Run the air from the flatline reg straight to the AIR valve on the gun. It may be a simple setup but works great.

Shootdown occurs when the guns valve system cannot refill the firing chamber as fast as you can pull the trigger. Simply; not enough gas in the chamber=less pressure to shoot the ball=less and less distance as you continue to pull the trigger.

The ReTro (RT) valve has been shot by a computer to 26 shots per second before measurable shootdown occurred. No other gun or valve system in the world can do that. In fact, the makers of the new HALO hopper specifically chose the ReTro valve to test their feed rate, since no other gun could outshoot the HALO!

Since I hope we talked you out of getting any ANS parts, you can use that money toward an Intelliframe. It really is the nicest grip frame made, and since it's made by AGD you can be assured it is made right the first time! Besides, they come with DYE Sticky Grips, which are arguably the best grips on the market for Pball guns.

Good luck, and welcome to the AGD family!
