    actual lvl 10 operating pressure

okay I finally made a rig to get an operating psi on the mag without drilling a hole in the side of the valve.

I took an old power tube tip and drilled it out a bit to tap it 1/8" npt. not much room there, but it worked fairly easily. then I just connected a 5" stainless line to it. on the end of the line I put a quick disconnect. the other part of the diconnect I put on a 3 1/2" dia. 1000 psi gauge(2% mid range accuracy).

I then set the gun up with the lvl 10 bolt to work properly and shot a few rounds. it was shooting 280. the temp is about 70 degrees.

then I pulled it apart, took all the lvl 10 parts out of the power tube and put the test rig on.
the results: lvl 10 operating psi is 470.

lower than I thought it would be.

the next test will be on a standard bolt. for anyone interested.
