    troubleshooting..

i've got an automag classic w/ lvl 10. i am not sure what type of valve is installed on my gun. It is different from the original ( it doesnt say classic anymore), the back part of the reg is a purple color.

anyhow, the gun only fires while the velocity is cranked to the point where gas vents out the back of the reg, if I crank it to just before it starts to vent, i can feel the trigger rod being pushed out, but it rarely fires if the velocity isnt way up, but rather the trigger gets stuck in the pulled position and leaks down the barrel until i crank the velocity up again. any ideas?

You need to replace the Reg Piston, I believe it is this thing.

I do know the AO sig rules, I just want a free sig pic, that's all!

Yea, you need to replace the reg piston.
Except it sounds like you have an aftermarket regulator.
You need to get a stock one I think. I'm not sure if aftermarkets use the same pistons or not.

it sound like ,from purple color you have a old diamond lab valve half ,,it should be the same parts to replace.

the only info I got from the buyer about the valve was "8 hole mod reg valve". that mean anything?
