These are about $75 for total kit including shipping.Even though they are used I think they are a better deal.I'll probably get both and sell one to a friend -just trying to figure out wich one to keep as a loaner

Of those two, I'd say the TL would be the better choice. The SE doesn't appear to have much of a trigger guard.

However, you can find more modern and E-Spyders on eBay for $50-$75 pretty easy.

after reading the specs on the tl I think it will be the better choice. What is a low pressure chamber, mini exspantion chamber,tl vertical adaptor, and tl reciever mean?

The Low Pressure Chamber (LPC) is just a hollow cavity that is screwed into the front of the vertical adaptor. It's the same idea as those on Autocockers, with the same dubious benefits of putting a few extra cc's of air just behind the valve.

The TL vertical adaptor is the standard type of today. The only unique thing about this version is that it has a relief cut for the cosmetic barrel shroud. The VA slides into the shortened body and is secured with a single screw. It, in turn, serves as the backing for the valve spring. It can be easily replaced by aftermarket VAs, such as the CIP Assault Block, if you eliminate the shroud.

The body is a pretty standard rear-cocking Spyder, with powerfeed, using the older nubbin ball detents.

The "expansion chamber" is really nothing more than a gas-thru. It is just a hollow tube with no baffles.
