    feedneck on powerfeed 68 classic

alright, this thing pisses me off. i hate the fact that it sticks out 4 billion feet to the right....so do you think i should cut a little off? anyone ever done that? would it hurt?

    thanks!

    it doesn't hurt

I did it to mine just so the adapter was on all the way, no difference. I heard they are so long so people couldn't stick their finger in there and chop the end off.

I was kinda thinking the same thing, but I'm not ready to do the cutting yet.

Because its not a power feed, it keeps a long stack of balls to prevent blowback, which helps you from breaking a ball.

i did it...the results are ok. my hopper is definately not sticking out as far, and it lowered the profile a little. my friends dad has power tools, so friday im gonna cut it down a little more, i'll host pics...i recommend doing this though.

I brought my body down to Home Depot & was able to take about an inch off (just enough left to put on the elbow & hopper). I've had no problems & it really brings the hopper down closer to the centerline. Since most people are using agitator or force-feed hoppers nowadays, ballstack shouldn't matter.
