Does the emag board operate with a bad 'noid

I just got finished with rewiring my emag (because the solenoid wire had a short) and now that i turn everything on my emag board does not start up. im suspecting the solenoid dead. or i didnt wire the 'noid properly. someone please help.. i wanna get my emag rolling soon...

Could someone take a pic on how the board should be wired also for future reference if it is wired incorectly.

One lead of the solenoid goes to the same point as the positive wire. The other lead goes to the middle conductor on the FET closest to the top right of the board. The solenoid doenst have polarity, so in most cases it doesn't matter which wire goes where.

Would the Board work with no solenoid or a dead one?
