    Paint in mask

Alrite this is sort of a newb question but heck i need help so im goin to the right place...anyways, i happened to take 2 or 3 mask shots yesterday. so while im cleaning the mask off (Spectra flex 7) i happened to notice two things. One, there is a lot of paint under the rubber liner thing (goes around the lens) that i have no idea how to get out w/out takin the lens out. And 2, there is paint on the opposite side of the liner, not under the thermal backing lens thing but rather under it, between the liner and the foam of the thermal part. I'm assuming i have to take the mask apart but since im not sure how to do that and i really dont trust myself, Anyone have any suggestions/ tips for taking the mask apart?
    thnx in advance

Start in the top middle and work your way around to the nose. Not as hard as it seems. If you do manage to mess up then you just need a new lense (~$20) And clean your mask before putting it back in.

And lots and lots of water, preferably a squirt bottle (to get those tough to scrub spots out).

Tking the mask apart is deffinately one way to tke care of it, I just use a garden hose, wash it off the best you can with decent ammount of pressure, and you should be good to go, if there is a bit of paint stuck in the crevases, I don't worry about it!! If, however, there is ANYTHING in between the two layers of your lens, that lense is no longer safe!!! Toss the lens and get a new one!!

invest in a mask that has an easy to remove lense. you will thank yourself many times over.

Leaving the paint on a mask for more than a hour is a big no no. The paint will actually craze (start eating away) the lenes and weaken it. It tells you this in the manual. Always clean you goggles after at least a day of play, I clean mine after every game. I would suggest go ahead and spend $25 and get new lense, $25 is cheap compared to the cost of your eyes.
