Gun shoots when I screw in my tank.

Basically my gun from the first time that I got it (4, maybe 5 weeks ago), it shoots one shot when I air it up. So today I go to my friends house cuz he got a new gun but wanted to use my hopper, and he hasn't shot my gun, so I brought that too. So I air it up, and it just starts shooting multiple shots very fast. After the burst of shots it wouldn't fire. Anybody wanna offer up some ideas to fix it????

Basically stock RT custom. I oiled it last time I played, which was a week or two ago.

take out the on off assembly and oil it. It sounds like an onn/off assembly issue. Do you have the ULT? if so this may need adjusting.

as far as the shooting when you screw your tank in. All of the mags (mech mags) I have shot do this. When there is no air in the gun and you pull the trigger it pushes the on/off in and the sear can them flop around (since there is no air to push it back). If you air the gun up when the sear happens to be in the open position (which it is 90% of the time once this happens) it will fire like you just pulled the trigger. Once you get the rapid fire/no fire thing fixed try this. Air the gun up, take a couple shots. Shut off the air. Don't pull back the trigger (make sure it is in the standard forward position). Re-air the gun. It shouldn't shoot.

First off my mag has never done this.. Can anyone else chime in?

Second, your supposed to be holding the trigger in as it is gassed up which should seal the on-off properly.

Third, I'm new to mags too so chime in if i'm talking out my *** :)

i had this problem.. but without the shooting rapidly... my mag just wouldnt shoot... i took off the trigger and shortend the sear pin(i think thats what its called) because the rod was too long and it wasnt moving how it was supposed to.. try that.. i dunno.. but maybe

I got mine workin' fine now. I was told to oil the on/off pin on another forum, and that did the trick.
