presets will work fine but the good thing about adjustable tanks is you can tweak the reactivness of the trigger, i think 850 is a pretty good input for the RT alrdy tho -
Really ? someone told me that 650 was a good input pressure, i believe my preset is 700-900 , is that ok ?Comment

imo, the higher the better, cuz the stronger the kick, even tho i turned my down pretty low just becuase i dont wanna go reactive, its so easy on emags, but 700-900 is perfectComment

Really, cool thanx man. o yeah also, is there any way you can make a PMI Pure Energy Preset into a Regulated Adjustable tank ?Comment

Yes you can, PMI just released an adjustment reg called the Thor, which can be bought for 99.00 at paintballgear.com. It simply mounts as an asa that you screw your exsisting tank into, this is a whole lot cheaper than buying an adjustable tank and switching the valve.Comment

I run a 45/4500 fibre wrap crossfire on my Retro. Works great. You can still tweak the trigger by changing the length of the on/off pin. The pins are $14 each, so I sent mine in the AGD and had them put a custom length pin in to make the trigger more reactive. She shoots great.Comment

The only problem I can see with the PMI Thor adjustable reg is that it would add a third reg to the system( tank, Thor, Gun). This could cause shoot down. A regular preset would work fine, but you just wouldn't be able to adjust the reactivity w/out screwing w/ your on/off pin./=== /\/\ [] |< [- |\|
