    foregrip grooves on RogueRail...too short!!

Does anybody else have this problem. I bought a roguerail, and have a qloader. I have it mounted under the barrel, and as such I want it to be as short as possible. THerefore, I want the foregrip to be as far back as possible. The slot for the screw goes back far enough to have the foregrip nearly touching the frame. However, the grooves on the sides are a different story. They only go back far enough for the foregrip to be roughly half an inch away from the frame. This is aggrivating because 1) its a roguerail, so shouldn't it be effective? 2) my qloader now sticks out half an inch farther than it has to (and its already long), and 3) the tube from my qloader to the marker now has to be half an inch longer.

I tried rotating the vert. ASA around 90* so that I can move it all the way back, but without a groove it doesnt stay centered, and with a qloader mounted on there, it rotates pretty easily. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do? thanks.

I've never had that problem, but I can fix it for you.

The solution will involve a Bridgeport - either the rail will get the knife, or the VA (I'd suggest the VA 'cause its a cheaper part, which you can '86 later if you change your mind). However, an encounter of the Bridgeport kind inevitably leads raw aluminum surfaces. I think it will mostly cover though (especially if you do the VA instead of the rail).

That's all I got. Hope it helps.
