Would it hurt anything if i was to remove the trigger rod on my E-Mag other than the fact that mech mode wouldent work because when iam trying to walk the trigger gassed up the rod just feels like its getting in the way.

no nothing will break..some people take it off so to make it uber tourny legal -
As stated, many remove it for tourney reasons. Just leaves you with e-mode.
But you lose the fun Hybrid mode.........

Use it in E mode & don't try to walk it in hybrid.

To clairify what Dayspring is saying...Originally posted by DayspringThat's just it. You don't NEED to remove it for E mode. If it's in spec, the trigger rod doesn't touch the trigger. (Unless your trigger has ALOT of post travel.)
If your Emag trigger rod is with in spec (2.125") flip to E-mode and you're golden. If your rod interferes while you are in E-mode, than your not in spec. You should be able to measure the 2 1/8" with a decent ruler, but I'd suggest getting a decent pair of digital calipers ($20-ish off ebay or Freight Harbor Tools)FEEDBACK

Hmm.. Then I would try to back it in more. But if you're looking to remove, I'd get a (2) pairs of pliers or robo-grips. One to hold the base where the rod screws into and the other on the rod to twist out.FEEDBACK

If you have too much travel in your trigger, it will do that. Tighten the trigger down a bit so it doesn't have so much back travel.
