    Twist Lock

    Hey,

I've got an Eclipse body rail that has a messed up twist-lock assembly. I was gonna buy one from airgun.com, but I thought, "How do I get the old one out?" It's brass, right? Wouldn't heating and hammering work? If anyone knows, I'd appreciate it...having to take the grip and rail off every time I wanna change barrels is annoying.

    Thanks.

Why do you have to take the grip off? You can adjust the spring tension on the twist lock with an allen key.

+he has to take it off because the pin wont go down. Mine was like that. I just hit the bottom (the flat part) with a hammer a couple times, and it popped out. It made a dent in the desk i was doing it on, so watch out.

Yeah, it's bent up to the point where it's jammed.

Thanks, I'll grab a hammer and some leather and get to work. On something not made of wood.
