    Short Range

I just got my RT Custom about a week and a half ago and its saw some action last weekend. Everything went great even thought I was having some problems with the valve leaking out of that pin hole on the side when I first gased it up. All of that aside, maybe I'm just not used to Mags, but it seems that it did't shoot very far. I had shooting consistantly at ~270 while using the crono at the field, but it seemed that i had to aim up quite a bit to hit relativly close targets. I was shooting the mag with a 10" ANS 3D-Barrel and a Dye Throttle air system. I also tried it witht the stock dye xcel barrel to the same affect. My other marker is a Model 98 witha 14" 32* Quiet Riot barrel. Am I doing something wrong or is this something I'm going to have to get used to? Thanks a lot.

All markers shoot the same range when chronoed to same speed and with the same paintballs used. That's called physics
(except flatline which gives paintball a backspin)

maybe you had realy bad paint size and it was way too small for your barrel?
