    Emag Safety Troubles

When I turn my Emag on and flip the safety off, the trigger (in E mode) won't pull. It acts like the safety is still on. I have to switch the gun to mechanical, fire a few times then switch it into E mode before I can get the gun to fire.

This just started happening very recently.

    Does anyone have any insight??

maybe try backing out the magnet in the trigger....it may be too close to the HES causeing it not to fire. also, check to make sure yourbattery is charged. if the problem still occurs, it could be that youre solenoid is sticking.

Hmm, make sure you oil your valve..
Are you still using the origional valve, or an xvalve? Make sure you have the black quad oring in your on/off.
Is this related to the saftey? I mean can you turn your gun on and off without the safety being put on and it still works? Maybe your battery isnt charged enough?

Yeah, try oiling the valve and double check the battery output!

          Thanks guys -

I went through everything. My level X is tuned correctly. Battery was charged. O rings were fine. The HES magnet was in it's proper place. It has to be something just with the safety because just turning it off and on w/out touching the safety works fine. i'm going to play around with it some more and try to figure out exactly what's happening.

          Thanks so much!

ps - mech *shakes finger* you know i keep my mag oiled with kermode trouble free

All the safety does is prevent the sear from moving and releasing the bolt. If it is off (out of the way), it can't impede the firing of the gun. Any sticking after the safety is put in the fire position is a result of sticking somewhere in the firing mechanism.

Check to see if your sear rod or plunger is bent.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Since you can fire it in mechanical mode, it can't be a safety problem, a safety problem would effect both modes. Check the clearance between the end of the trigger rod and the back of the trigger, at least 1/16 inch should be present.
