I would guess so but I'm not sure, my friend has an original MiniMag, and he runs CO2. As far as I know it is the same valve.

I just got my minimag, and that's how I intend to use it, I tried it with both anti-siphned tanks and regular tanks, USE AN ANTI-SIPHONED TANK! The velocities were consistant using a WGP ERGO reg, and the anti-siphoned tank, the reg only got mildly cold. (really cold and frosty non-anti-siphoned)

I have not done any long term testing 'cause I just got the gun, so if any veterans have any tips and tricks, I'd love to hear them also.

ok let me put it this way

i ran my mag on hpa......the tank went out of hydro...so c02 took its place

i ran an anti siphoned co2...and shot super fast untill it went bonkers (froze and leaked air out of barrel... it also shot like dry ice chystles out of the barrel) and it didnt take too many shots (id say about 25-35 fast shots)

so i ran it thru an X chanber (well gas thru technicly) worked well....but froze after about 50-60 shots

then i got a plamers stab.......shot a tank fomr 800psi untill teh mag wouldnt work becuase of too LP ...not any freezing

        get a stab
        or hpa
        (or dont shoot fast)

I have a palmer stabilizer for sale for 55 dollars in the classifieds if you want, it will help alot with co2 (as mentioned by some of the guys above me) And I'm not just saying that so you will buy it, because its true you can ask anyone if palmer stabilizers help keep co2 out of your gun. Anyway you could just send the money with my gun if you want

If not, expantion chambers help but not that much. Anti Syphon is the best way but it still will not eliminate the co2 all the way (IMO anti siphon + palmer stabilizer is the way to go) also you could run remote. The remote acts as an expantion chamber and since your tank is vertical in your harness there is no way for liquid to get in there.
