INSANE amount of shoot-up with an X-Valve in an X-Mag?

I just picked up another X-Mag, and a have a slight hiccup with it.

It appears that it is getting an INSANE amount of shoot-up, as in 240-250 FPS normal trigger pull, and then a jump to 330 with the chrono method for the RT. Unfortunatly, this makes it virtually impossible to set the LvL-10 up, as you jump way over the max FPS of any field while rapid shooting, but in a single shot- it just chuffs.

Another peice of possibly useful information is that if I hold the trigger in Manual, it makes a VERY slight leak- but only sometimes. also have a slight leak when finger is off the trigger from the front of the bolt, but again,. only sometimes maybe 1 of of ever 25-50 shots or so.

Any insight? I have taken MANY X's apart, and I cant seem to find anything in the valve itself that differs from any other X. I even took the Valve from my ther X and put it in this marker... works fine.

well, I can suggest a very brute force debugging method:

    1: disassemble the malfunctioning marker
2: one at a time, install every oring and small part from the bad marker into the good marker. (you can do the parts in groups if you want a more binary search., where you at least know the part is SOMEWHERE in the on/off for instance, and can then go part-by-part through that)
3: after each part replacement air up the gun and test it. if it shows the problem, then you know what part caused it.

I would suggest it's most likely something in the reg seat/pin/piston area.
