    ULE sticking up

As the title says.. my new ULE body on my classic 68 is sticking up from the rail. and i DID take out the twist-lock assembly. i looked at what was sticking up and it was the pin thing that goes from the rail to the trigger frame. it is sticking up at the top so i treid to knock it down into the rail.... but it is solidly sticking up. i have no clue.... and it look like $%@#.... i cant get pics bc i left it with my dad... but when i get it back i wil take some if you need it.

did you remove jsut the ball, spring and screw from the twistlock assembaly? if so you have to bangout the rest because you only removed the internals of the twistlock not the shell.

i know for ure it is the bushing... i just dont know why it would be sticking up. I am using an old, chrome rail with the bushing that is with it, so maybe that has somthing to do with it.

There is no bushing in the front. Did you hammer out the twist lock assembly or just take out the internals?

allright..... it is the pin thing that the foregrip screws into.. and it comes through the top of the rail down so the screw goes up into it.
