I just bought a used gun that has a Bob Long Torpedo Regulator. Haven't done much with the gun yet but I was told it needs to be tuned. I thought it would be wise to ask which way you turn the screw to increase the pressure. So I don't blow anything out, up, or anywhere at all by going over any pressure tolerances. Any help is appreciated, I did look at Bob's website but with Dial up I have yet to get it working to any good degree. Thanks.

Hey, quick tech hint; "zero" out your regs before doing anything. to do this, back the adjustment screws out till they are flush with the bottom of the reg. That way, there is no possible way to blow your noid. From there, air up the gun, adjust the reg below the barrel, until you pressure is correct (my alias runs at 70, my GZ at 85. Do NOT go over 100 psi). Once it is set, adjust the vert reg for velocity. screw it in to increase, bask it out to dsecrease. From its zero point, you will probably have to screw it in before you get any decent velocity.

you might want to check your spring for burrs and the housing for scratches
if you round the burrs and polish it your flow and recharge will increase
better yet get also the delrin piston at www.violentproducts.com for your torp
it works
