    Xvalve Questions-Firing & leaking

I've just got 3 questions... I STILL haven't been to the field with my brand new mag and have barely cycled any paint through it.

1- Is it normal for my mag to shoot when i gas it up? Even if the safety is on and I don't touch the trigger, it just fires.

2- Now i AM low on air, but it is venting air out of a hole on the size of the x valve (hole nearest to the ULE body). Is this just because I'm low on air, or did something mess up?

3- I chuff a ton with the ULT trying to shoot fast... I was thinking it's just because i suck at it and don't completely pull/release the trigger. But would adding another shim to the ULT get me a little more reactivity to help? I use a High Output preset.

1.kinda.... try pulling the trigger and amking sure there isnt a gap in the on/off

2.shouldnt be leaking from there. i dont know what to tell you because ive never heard or seen that happen..i assumed it was an emergency air release of sorts

3.you can add another shim and also removing and oiling inside will/may help.
ult is known for shortstroking and may take soem getting sued to.

its my udnerstanding that the ult pin IS removeable. although im no expert on the subject.

remove the ult and then push the pin out the bottom side. you may need pliers or tweezers or soemthing to pul it out the rest of the way then drop some oil and get it inside wher ethe pin was also a toothpick can help

no no no, the ult pin does not come off like the other on/off pins, the top on the ult on/off its threaded for some reason and the pin is not as strong as the otherd so be careful with it. as for the rest I'm seeing #1 but i gass mine up slowly and that seems to stop it hope this helps

Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
