how come the body rocks on my classic?

Well I just bought a used classic and i go to put the grip frame screw on and I tighten it down, the body is rocking back and forth and does not seem secure at all. Is there suppose to be a spacer or something? I am awfully confused as to why it's like that. My dad just told me it was engineered bad and I am not to sure that this is the case. Since it's not the exact screw that's suppose to hold it together is that the problem? although the screw is the right threads.

usually its just a case of dirt or something in the way of the body/rail..

if you have a foregrip on your mag, check to see that the screw in the top of the rail that holds the foregrip in is all the way down and out of the way of the body, other than that, check for dirt like the dude above me said, also make sure the set screw in the bottum of the twist lock pin is allowing the trigger frame to seat fully up against the bottom of the rail, if not, tighten the set screw in a little till the trig. frame is flush with the rail... can't think of any other possibilities though.

Then you should get Field Strip Screw Assembly The screw you have may look like same but all the dimensions may not. It doesn't show it in the picture but underneath of head of screw is a urethane bushing to help prevent it from backing out to.

wrong screw dude, it's the frame school not the field strip screw.
          and I don't have a foregrip.

I was wondering why on this classic the rail and body are threaded, and on my old emag it was only the body that was thread. My dad thinks this may be the problem of it rocking.Anybody know?

No the rail aint threaded stock. Sounds like a moded rail. Does the back part of the sear fit in the hole in the body. The body has a little block on it where the frame screw goes that fits in a cut out on the rail. Got any pics?
