know anybody who does custom jobs?

I'm trying to get a warp-right feed made for my pro-team-products MicroMag body. I put a Q-loader on it recently and the system works great except for the fact that balls keep jamming in the sharp angle of the powerfeed (the 90 degree bend right before the balls drop into the breech).

The powerfeed itself is *modular*, it slides in and out on a beavertail type groove and is held in with a pair of allen head screws. Takes all of 15 seconds to remove from the gun. It would be a piece of cake to swap it for another module with the feed neck on the right side (warp) instead sticking up and left (powerfeed)... problem is, Pro Team Products never made anything like that. I have no idea why they would make the feed neck modular like that if they were never going to make any different style adapters, but whatever.

So, I'm looking to get a piece custom made, and I'm hoping one of you guys can refer me to a good airsmith who could do it for a reasonable price. My only other option is to buy a completely new Mag body, and a rail to go with it, and that's just not worth it. I can take pictures of the powerfeed piece and MicroMag body if I get any replies, and if I find someone willing to take the project I'd be happy to mail the powefeed piece to them to help with the job.

I to have a ptp micromag and have been wondering the same thing. I can't stand the powerfeed neck. I'm sure if someone is willing to do it they will get alot more customers like us.

Problem with that idea is, even if you flip the powerfeed upside down, you'd still have that 90 degree angle coming into the breech. That's where the balls are jamming up. It's not that there's a problem with the Q-loader system, it works great... it just doesn't work with my feed configuration. I need something with a warp-style feed so that once the balls are past the elbow on the end of the tube, it's a straight shot into the breech. Nowhere for the balls to pinch up.

If I can't get an adapter made, I might just have to try jury-rigging something... hmmm

Oh, one more thing. I was looking at the powerfeed just now (I have it sitting on my desk, hehe) and I noticed that the knob has set screws in it- I can adjust how far in the feed gate sits. Maybe adjusting the setscrews so the gate sits deeper might give the balls less free space to jam up in. I'll have to give it a try.

Lunchbox- is your ptp micro a version one or a version two? Mine's the old version with a lever-style detent on the side of the breech, rather than the modern ball bearing style the more recent version has. I didn't have to grind down anything on mine, it works just fine.

i had the same problem. what i did was measured the distance from the bottom of the powerfeed hole window (part that is a window to the breach) to the bottom of the powerfeed. i took this measurement and cut it off the top of the powerfeed. then i took the black cap that usually goes at the bottom and put it on the top. then i put the elbow on after filing and exacto knifing some plastic off of the elbow so it would go all the way in. i guess i could take a picture if you wanted but it inlvolves cutting. im getting one of the new ule's so i doesnt really matter

Has anyone tried changing the power feed plug from the stock plug to a long style plug and have the Warp feed from the bottom of the PF?
