problem with classic valve

My classic valve has a problem the spring that goes on the pin which links the air from inlet in valve to regulator got stuck in the whole I was able to pull it out but now it won't go back in and I can't find a new one its not in my old parts kit what do I do please help.

is the spring damaged in any way. those dont come in the parts kit cause it isnt something that would usually have a problem unless you mess with it. if it is damaged try agd online store in the "classic valve parts" section

it should just snap in there. it should take too much force to pull it out

I got it back in but its real tight it didnt seem damaged but Ill probably have to buy a new one I dont have any air right now so I don't know if it is still working it was before.
