    Sear assembly/safety problem?

Alright, here's one for you techies to chew on (and help me with please?)

I went out to play today with my Emag. I'm running 3.2 on it. Last time I used it was in July, and was having no problems in any way (mech, hybrid, or e). However, I finally got out today to play again, and the emode/hybrid is not working properly. Mechanical seems to be fine.

Emode was working only intermittently. There was no rhyme or reason to it. The battery was fully charged and fine. I could see the LED readout just fine.

I got home, and took off the grip panel, and tore it all apart, thinking maybe the trigger was set too sensitive, or not sensitive enough. Dinked around for a bit, put it all back together, and still had nothing.

I took the grip panel off, and looked at the sear assembly. The sear plunger that goes down into the solenoid looked to be partially up, and would not seat back down. (This is emode.) I degassed the gun, manually pushed the plunger all the way down, and then gassed it back up. I turned the safety back off, and nothing moved. (Good.) Turned the safety back ON, and the plunger popped partially up again. Also, the rod that sits behind the trigger (as a part of the sear assembly) seemed to move too freely. Can't describe it beyond that. (Sorry.)

The gun is getting a signal just fine when I pull the trigger. I checked that in "trigger" mode. I was seeing it switch to "on" and "off" just fine. But when I pull...no shot.

Any help here? A problem beyond me fixing? Something I'll have to send in somewhere? Grrr.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me!

As the solenoid gets older, it may not have the strength to pull the plunger down. You may have to take a 1/2 a turn on the plunger to lengthen it. Also, check the battery with a volt meter. You need 18 volts in there. Let me know.
