    Diamond Labs Reg Back-Hurricane-

Hi all, My classic Mag i got at a yard sale for $40.00 has a Hurricane reg back on it and the guys i bought the gunn from came over and gave me some more parts and i noticed that the original reg back was there too, So should i have the original put back on or just leave it alone???? I love my Mag and it has been shooting flawlessly.. Everyone i play with loves the Mag and are amazed at the lightness of it and the good rate of fire i get.... AUTOMAGS RULE!!!

If it's shooting fine for you, leave it the way it is. If the reg half ever starts acting up on you then you'll have the stock one to switch it back.
Just keep it cleaned and lubed and you should be fine.

I had the same situation as you did: my Mag came with a Hurricane and a stock valve back. I put the stock back on just because it matched with the other valve half.

By the way, where do you play, dragon?

If the Hurricane you have is black, it's bade of aluminum, and therefore alot lighter than the Classic back. If it works fine, leave it, since it's lighter.
            My feedback is available here.

Yup its black, guess i was kinda looking at keeping the marker closer to the original set up, I even have the original Budd Orr sniper Barrel with it.....

Nope, supposedly the guy that ran Diamond labs was the same person who sold the Tribal. Forget the site but he was also responsible for the mako and boo-ya stuff, all those companys
                    just disapeared.

I've got one of the hurricane backs also but the titanium version, it doesn't help with anything
except weight less and make people ask questions.

I used to have one back in the day. It was basically just an 8 hole mod. It was a standard upgrade done on mags years ago. I believe that the holes didn't always line up properly between the two halves of the valve, so having 8 holes increased the chances of having the holes line up helping to avoid shootdown (or so I seem to recall reading... could be utter horsecrap). AGD addressed this issue and ensured that the holes in their valves lined up and made the 8 hole mod redundant.

                        Kev said it perfectly
