    Minimag retirement?

I own a stock mini-mag (7 years old). I was pretty happy not to mod it in any way, other than a new barrel and a remote bottle adapter. I used to be a pretty avid paintball player, but was inactive for the last 5 years due to life cirumstances (got married, moved, etc).

I just started playing again and took my mini-mag out of retirement. Suprise suprise, my years of neglect has shown on the gun. Now, its not all rusted or anything, but you can well imagine the issues I had on the field trying to play with just a oil lube and some quick "on the field" repairs.

I took it to the local proshop guys, and they said all I needed was to get a complete replacement kit of the O rings, springs, valves, etc. in order to get it back into shape.

My question is: should I spend the money/time to get it back up to par? Or should I just trade in the mag for a more updated model of marker?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

it depends what you want to do. you can get an o-ring rebuild kit or you can exchange your valve for an X-valve this is really up too you and how much money you are willing to spend on the gun.
