Hey today i was cleaning my gun i noticed that the "star thing" (not sure what its called) inside the bolt is really loose and rattles around. Now im not sure if it way always like that or if it just happened, i dont want it to fall out while im shooting or something. So is that thing supposed to be tight in there and if so what do you use to tighten it back up?

that's called the venturi.
Most spyder owners have it removed. many seem to ahve a HIGE problem removing them, so you just lucked out.
what I did with mine was to cut it off so that it form a plug to seal the hole at the bottom. cut a grove into the flat, non-threaded part of the shank you just made and you've got yourself a bolt.
hope this helps.

hype......it is siad .it makes the gun more accurate......but i have yet to see any proof of thathttp://www.automags.org/forums/showt...12#post1682112 WTT Custom RM for A-5/Mag/CockerComment

it claims to spread the air pressure over all of the ball, instead of all the air hitting it in one place. They say that all the air hitting it in one place deforms the ball and makes you lose accuracy, but there has been no proof of this. The venturi adds restriction, which makes you use more air, so you'll be more efficient without it (and lighter too!).Comment

its thought to make the air flow evenly around the ball but really after 2 inchs down the barrell its all behind it anyways so its useless
