Y-Grip/Dye Grip Compatibility (first post, be gentle)

I'm looking into a buying a Y-Grip frame from someone but it has no grip on it. Does anyone know if a Dye sticky grip will fit/feel right? Also does anyone know if you're missing an O-ring or two and send your gun in for a free repair, if AGD will cover that or if they will charge you for the O-rings?

I dont believe that the grips will fit... usually people just use regular 45 grips but they go on backwards...

the free repair I'd check on, AGD just had to switch their warrenty policy... so it might affect your situation...

here is a link to the new warrenty policy as stated here on AO...

    hope that helps! good luck!

Bad Dog is right on the grips. Dye Stickies (or any wraparound, for that matter) won't fit, since the grips go on backwards. You should be able to use any .45 style panel grip, though. You just put the left one on the right, and the right one on the left.

As for the warranty, if you send your valve in, and it has a star left, AGD will charge you $20 for return shipping, but the orings and service should be free. If you don't have any stars left, I think it's a $65 rebuild fee. That includes return shipping.
