    Huge leak down barrel!

I know similar problems have been placed on this board and I have done what has been suggested in those threads.. but Here I am .......

My miniMag is leaking down the barrel at a huge rate... When I hold the trigger back the leak stops. I have bought a parts kit and spacer kit and replaced all o-rings in both on/off assembly and power tube and tip.. I have used ever size spacer and I still have the same issue.. My power tube is not cracked..I am using CO2 with a bottom line... Does anyone have any ideas???
    Thanks
    Mirage

I have had an automag before and a RT and never had this problem.. Thanks for your help

Check your sear. If there is excess wear, the bolt might be sitting too far forward and can't seal against the powertube o-ring, even with the shortest spacer.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

KEn : what do you mean by the "ult o rings" ?
Rift: I did replace the reg seat, and it leaks like crazy as soon as I attach the CO2
athomas: I will check the sear and get back to you

Thanks for the ideas so far guys

Sounds like the bolt is not catching on the sear.

Stick something down the barrel and push against the face of the bolt, (with air on) it should reset....

The sear is in good shape ... not much wear...
And after connecting air I pushed the bolt back with a wooden spoon and the air still was blowing out the barrel...
Could this be a valve issue.. ?

It definately sounds like a powertube o-ring problem. Try another powertube o-ring and the shortest powertube spacer. Apply a little lube to the o-ring when you put it in. What type of bolt is in the mag? Aftermarket or AGD?
