I just got a used powerfeed mag a couple days ago, with a retrovalve, level 10, intelliframe, and a couple of nitro tanks for 300. i also got a max flow to go with it for 150. The guy told me it had a leak but should be easy to fix, so I went through the level 10 tuning video and instructions here, and cleaned and oiled it all up, etc. I went to my field for the first time yesterday, and I was gonna have him set up some macroline on it and help me get it all tuned up, etc. He proceeded to call it an auto*** and tell about how they suck in cold weather blablabla, I wasn't surprised. He couldn't get it to shoot, and didn't really have any knowledge about mags and just told me to fix it myself and that I got ripped off. So I just played the day with my Piranha.
So then I got home and started to mess with it myself, but realized that even with the many hours ive spent reading over this forum, it would be best to just ask for help. So here are the problems I've noticed:
1. My maxflow has a leaky guage, so im using a screw in crossfire 45/3k. When I screw it in, it sort of sounds like its rapid firing, but the trigger isn't moving at all. It stops when I pull down the trigger, but the in leaks a little from somewhere.
2. The velocity adjusting nut appears to be stripped. Maybe I just need to adjust my velocity. I managed to get it to unscrew quite easily with a pliars.
3. The sear pin appeared to be touching the trigger, which ive heard is supposed to be about a milimeter away from it. I doubt this was a big deal, but I tightened it so it looks about right.
All help is greatly appreciated!
