    intelliwarp problem

ok i posted this on the "official warp thread" a little while ago and i have gotten no response and i need to fix this.. this is just copy pasted from the other post i made.... (with some corrected spelling)

ahh still cant get my intelliwarp going!! clipped off the wiring for the revvy, and its doing the same thing... heres some pics..

heres the roller switch set up

and my warp board (wow this was hard to get a good picture of)

you can see that i DID move the shunts to the outside and there is no shunt in the middle

alright, what did i do wrong plz help

if you guys dont see anything im gonna go buy a new connector dealio that plugs into the warp, the solder sortof melted some plastic on it but i have no idea why that would do anything.. i didnt have enough battery life to get anymore pics though..
    thanks

on the microswitch did you check to see if those where the right prongs to hook up the wires to? I just remember one wire goes to the middle one and the other to the bottom one. I could be wrong, but at least it's an idea. Did you download the manual from AGD site? That really helped me out.

Try it with a jumper in the top position only.

Move the black wire on the micro switch to the left terminal and repeat previous 2 steps.

        just my two cents...
working in the electronics field, I notice that if you can solder all your connections... I had tried to just twist and tape the wires for my warp just to test and I noticed that when i fired my marker, it created enough movement to not make a solid connection.. so i would try that first... also make sure that your sear is rolling correctly on the microswitch to make it click.. I had to bend my arm on the microswitch up some to get a good constant switch ignitionation... tweak to perfect.... hope this may help...

I noticed the insulation is melted; you may have overheated the terminals on the switch enough to melt the plastic inside there too. Try just twisting on the connections first and test out the whole circuit first. Then cut the wire to size and solder.

Goggle search on "how to solder" found some good instructions at: http://www.aaroncake.net/electronics/solder.htm

            Hope this helps.
