Which spring are you running, plus how many shims.
If you can go up a spring put that in along with the next tighter carrier. Also try no shims if you have any in, then up the velocity screw a bit and dry fire at least a tank of air through it to help break in the level 10.
After you're sure the lvl10 is working good, start adding shims one at a time to fine tune it to your liking.

first off put the biggest carrier in ther that dosent leak (leaking is a no no), then you can work you way up with shims, sometimes there not even needed so ya might get lucky. Also what spring are you using? Id recommend going with the red one and if you havent already done so you will need to up the velocity a bit thats normal with lvl 10 tuning. Lastly whats your input pressure set at?

I have 3 shims in it right now...I will for sure try it with out any shims maybe that will help. Its running well (aside from the minor leak...which i would love to get fixed) with the medium silver spring...great ideas thanks! anymore more help would be awesome!

make sure that you rule out a damaged carrier O ring... this can be done by trying both carrier o rings that came with the lvl 10 kit with a carrier that you think is going to work....

ps.. i'm talkign about the white o ring on the inside of the carrier... its rare for the outter black one to fail... and it doesnt sound like your issue since you've changed the carriers frequently.

DO NOT CHANGE TO ANOTHER ORING!

lvl 10's are tuned to the oring, if youchange the oring, you will have to change to a carrier to fit that oring.take the biggest carrier that doesnt leak. and pull out all shims. before putting bolt on, drop 3 drops of oil down the powertube. test using this configuration. try this again adding one shim at a time. also, it will be eaisiest to tune the lvl 10 with the smallest spring. after you break in the lvl 10 a bit with the small sprign, then you can adjust it to use a longer spring if you like. personally, with the 3 mags i own, i use the shortest spring in all of them, and never break balls. with the smallest spring, you get the most efficient setup, as well as the most reliable.

he has tried all of the carriers... so, the issue doesnt seem to be from carrier size... that is why i pointed him in the direction of the o ring.... doesnt matter if you have to break in a new o ring... if the one he has now is flawed in some way, its worse to carry on using that... come on now..

Yup Cali has it right, one thing you might want to avoid is oiling the power tube o-ring this creats a false sence of friction and when you use the gun and that oil disapears the lvl 10 could act up.

ive talked to many people on the oring issue. even if the oring is in 3 pieces, you want to continue using these piece until theyre completely destroyed before putting in a new oring and tuning that.

as for him trying all the carriers...he has also changed other things and not kept a control. you dont do experiments(which tuning a lvlx is) without having a control. the directions for tunning that i gave above hold a control and eventually, with enough patience will get the lvl x tuned. i also suggest reading the directions that agd has at www.airgun.com it seems most people dont do this and just start messing around with parts and not really understanding why they are changing each part.

so go to the agd site, read all of the directions, learn a bit, and then tune your lvl x.
