Mag Problems - Leaking and double firing(please help)

Hey guys im new into the mag scene and i jus traded for a 68 Classic which i just received today in the mail. It has a "Rental Valve" which is just like a Classic vavle and just has level 7. I gased it up for the first time, and of course i use nitro, when i firsted gased it, there were no leaks at all in the braided lines and then i took a couple shots of it and i could hear a small hissing noise coming from the inside of the mag. I pushed the bolt with my finger and the hissing stopped. I continued to fire a few more times and the hissing would either get more silent or louder. Also i took it out back with some paint to fire it, i put 100rnds into my revy and took a couple shots. The first few shots were fine, then after that all it would do was double fire pretty much every shot, i would get the odd couple of bursts of clean shots. I assumed that maybe im missing the anti-double feed in the body of my mag, but im not quite sure. If someone could please help me out that would be greatly appretiated.

    Thanks for looking.

the only thing that keeps the gun from double feeding is the ball detent.

pull the barrel out of the gun. look at it. it should have a wire ball detent with a couple of o-rings around the outside of it. if it has the wire ball detent, then it might be worn out.

go to the online store to take a look at them, and buy them if you don't have them available at a local store.

the leak sounds like it was a power tube o-ring leak. oil it and try it again. if that doesn't help, a new o-ring should do it.

a parts kit is always a good investment for any mag owner, or for any gun fror that matter.
