If I set my flatline output to 900 should it stay there?

If I set my flatline 3000 psi tank for an output pressure of say 900 psi should it stay there when my tank pressure goes to 2000 psi, or 1500 psi ? My output pressure changes from 700 to 1000 depending on the tank pressure. Help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

well thats deff not normal that usually only happens once the tank is lower then 1000 psi or even less. Ii know when i had a similar problem with my pressure going all over the place my reg seat and spring pack were changed. Im betting its one of those two things but i also bet Tuna would knoe fore sure.

Read my Flatline maintenance thread in the Gun/Air System thread stickied here in the tech forum.

If that doesn't help you guys out, I can go through your air systems and get them back in shape.

Since it is a 3k Flatline, I replaced the o-ring for the reg seat. I also have the flatline parts kit. I've gone through the reg half. I haven't gone into the on-off. Your guide didn't show how to do that. I think it might be dirt making it perform so badly.

I guess the most important thing is that I wanted to know is if this is a normal thing. I have had this flatline so long I have forgotten.

            Thanks,

I didn't go into the on/off disassembly because it's not something your average FL owner should be doing.

It is not normal behavior for the FL to do that, just so you know.
