      foregrip piggyback question...

      Hey all,

Great timing on this message...I was just about to post something similar, so I'll jump in here.

I have a 1991-era 68 Classic that I pulled out of the closet last spring & sent to AGD for an upgrade. Other than the L10/X-Valve upgrade and a conversion to HPA, it's still stock. I've been wanting to switch from the rear ASA to a bottomline or gas-thru grip, but don't know exactly what I need to do the conversion. Looking thru the choices in the Action Village shop only serves to further confuse me... I was looking at the CP Mini gas-thru, but I don't know what elso I'd need to make this work. Comments and suggestions welcome, thanks in advance.

Sure. All this part is there for is to be able to put a foregrip/expansion chamber on. You don't HAVE to use it if you don't want.

If you don't have a foregrip on the gun at all, you need one of the foregrip adapters. Then, choose whatever gas-through you want. Next, get 2 lengths of macro line or SS Braided hose and a few gas fittings to put it all together.

the other option you all have is the one that i opted for... since i run HPA thru an On/off ASA straight to the valve via Macro line, i chose to use this style of foregrip.... This is really kinda old stuff... its pre brass eagle stuff from viewloader., but they made is specifically for the classic AM/MM rail... as you can see by the wedge that is cut in the top.. i've only ever seen 2 of these... 1 on my mag, and the other is on a guy's mag that i played with a year or so ago.... he hooked me up with a buddy of his that works in a paintball warehouse in the mid-west somewhere... i forget his contact number.. but i know that i can get in touch with him if i need to, cause i'm still in touch with teh guy that hooked me up..... anyways.... here is a pic of the piece... pm me/ email me or whatever if you're interested

notice that no gas runs thru this piece and its really light cause its completely hollow aluminum... nice smooth contour tho and is hard annodized black... the guy told me they have about 1000 of these left and they have all diff colors... anyways,,, good luck... i just wanted it cause i cant stand the vert ASA with a damn hole in it even if you dont run air into it....
