    Max flo max input pressure.

Does anyone know if a horizontal maxflo can handle 3000psi input pressure. I know there made to take 800 psi fixed output tanks, but if I was to remove the pin in the preset valve and use my maxflo to adjust the pressure so as to achieve 900 - 1000 psi for reactivity.

Would this be dangerous, has anyone tried it?

      Well.

Here's what I'm thinking. I'd like to have an adjustable tank so I can get reactivity out of my RT, I don't have $ to spend on nice maxflo or other, but I have two maxflo horizontal regs, I don't need, I'm pretty sure, that the internals are the same on both types of maxflos except for the main spring. It even looks like if I just had the manifold off a maxflo tank reg, my maxflo regs would go right into them.

          Maxflo

The 3000 psi would only be from the tank to the reg. (which is a screw in connection) no hoses invloved at that pressure, then after the reg. I'd adjust to about 900-1000, so hose would only see 900-1000,and I'd go stainless braided.

yea thats fine, put a gauge on the reg or asa to monitor the pressure
