Problem w/ Doc's Cocker to Mag Adapter

Are Doc's cocker to mag adapter compatible with a lv 10 RT Pro? Mine won't work with the adapter installed. It appears to prevent the valve from "airing up".....the trigger doesn't even get pushed forward.

Anyone else having a similar problem using the adapter on their RT pro with lv 10 ?

    Thanks!!

    ?

It shouldn't really have anything to do with airing up since nothing is happening in the breach.

Did you just install the lvl 10?

I've got the adapter working in an x-valved (same as RT-Pro, except it's all aluminum), so it does work.

The lvl 10 was already installed when I bought the RT pro. The lvl 10 appears to have been installed correctly.

I agree with you, I wouldn't think an adapter in the breech would affect the valve....but it does. Gun works when the adapter is removed.

My guess is my adapter is not to spec and interferring with the level 10 bolt.....rubbing against the bolt....which in turn is affecting the valve.

ive used one of the doc's adapters in my classic rt and have had no problems with it. one thing you might want to check is that since when you take it out and put the adapter back in youre removing the front screw and the strip screw, you have to put these back in with the same amount of torgue on each screw. if you dont, then the valve gets mis-aligned and can either not fire, or can fire full auto(pending on which screw is tight/loose,etc. try tweaking with these screws a bit and see if that helps.

Got a change to to take apart my RTP. Yup, I got a faulty adapter. Held the adapter & the bolt together, the bolt won't fit in the adapter. I guess I'm emailing Doc.
