Anyone know how much force in pounds it takes to fire a ULT, as measured right at the trigger rod and not at the end of the trigger? I remember hearing 1.5pounds.
how heavy is a ult trigger pull?

i thought ive heard that its not even a pound, like 13 oz. not sure on that, but i have one, and i think it would be kinda hard to walk a 1.5 pound pull.President Of the UW-Madison Badger Ballers

that 13 oz is probably measure at the end of the trigger. I need the force on the trigger rod.Comment

still debating if i should go with the ULT kit on my xvalved mag. I love the reactivity! but then again running my input at 850psi-900psi does eat alot of air
. So im deciding right now if i should keep my high ROF with reactivity or keep it down with increased efficiency (lower input psi) and light trigger pull.

ok guys, 'light' is not what I'm looking for here. I ran a ult for about 3 months so I know how it feels. I'm working on a project and need to know something like "X pounds as measured opposite and parallel to the sear rod"
It may well be 15 oz.Comment

the 15oz figure at the trigger rod is probably correct. like i said, i can walk my ult, that with one finger at the bottom of the trigger, and one at the trigger rod.President Of the UW-Madison Badger Ballers

Yup, 15oz at the top (at the rod) is what TK says. It feels a lot less to me though. Having shot an electro for a while it's not that big a transition for me.Comment

15oz is an ounce shy of a pound... unless its an English pound, in which case its about ~$2.00.......
